Operating in the 902-928 MHz ISM band, this module can be used to transmit data or voice for virtually any wireless application, although it is optimized for voice. It offers 56 channels for robust operation in the field. Full-duplex operation allows voice to be transmitted and recieved at the same time. No other 900 MHz transceiver can claim that!.

The modules operate in pairs: one -HS module and one -BS module. The transmit and receive channels are opposite for the two modules, allowing one to receive the transmission of the other. For this reason, an -HS module will not work with another -HS module. Likewise for the -BS module.

A pair of EWM-900-FDTC modules operate with a 100dB link budget, allowing outdoor, line-of-sight operation at ranges between 500 and 800 feet.
